Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya celebrates the success of the reopening of its exclusive adults-only hotel on July 1, as well as its new Valentin Cares program, a major upgrade of its already strict operation procedures.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
GUEST ARRIVAL
 
GUEST ROOMS
 
 
 
 
Guests’ luggage will be disinfected upon arrival to the hotel, before being delivered to their rooms.

New arrivals will be pre-checked.

Check-in desks are individual and the distance between guests is of a minimum of 1.5 meters. Each will be disinfected between registrations.

Flow directions and floor markers have been positioned, where appropriate, to encourage social distancing guidelines.

A declaration of health will need to be signed upon arrival to confirm guests have not, in the last 21 days, tested positive or had contact with anybody who may have tested positive.

Hotel’s golf carts, and general internal transportation will be disinfected after each use.

 
Our housekeeping staff will use disposable gloves and facemasks during the cleaning and disinfection of all guests room.

Guests rooms will be subject to an extensive sanitation process using Cristal International Standards (POSI-Check / Room Check) with Ecolab chemicals following EPA guidelines and sealed upon completion.

A QR code will be placed in each room, so guests can review online all the different cleaning and disinfection protocols used.

Antibacterial gel will be provided as part of the room amenities.

A personal sanitation kit including antibacterial gel, disposable masks and disinfecting wipes will be placed in each room before departure as to provide our guests with extra protection during their trip back home.
 
 
 
 
 
 
PUBLIC AREAS
 

 
 
 
 
Lobbies, bars, restaurants, and all public areas will be sanitized avery hour according to Cristal International Standards guidelines and using Ecolab EPTA specified chemicals.

All indoor and outdoor seating and sun lounging areas will be thoroughly cleaned and spaced according to social distancing requirements.

Bars, restaurants, and other public facilities, will have a maximum guest capacity to enforce proper social distancing.
 
Antibacterial gel dispensers will be placed at each elevator door, outlet entrance and exit, and throughout all public areas at the hotel.

Aromance Spa and Beauty Salon will offer sanitized check-in areas, and all treatment rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each therapy. All Spa staff will wear facemasks at all times.

Our swim-up pool bar will remain closed for the time being.

STAFF MEMBERS
 
 
 
 
Buffet restaurants will no longer offer self-service and will be waited by staff wearing facemasks, screens and gloves. Food will be protected by acrylic barriers.

A la carte breakfast will be implemented as an additional option.

Physical menus will be replaced by QR codes.

Every kitchen will continue to follow Cristal International Standards including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).

All staff members will be required to wash their hands every 20 minutes.
 
Valentín team members will have their temperature checked via infrared monitors before entering the premises.

Complete daily sanitation of all staff garments (uniforms including footwear, headwear, and any instruments used to perform their tasks).

All team members will be equipped with personal protective equipment, to be replaced at least once during their shift.

Delivery times will be restricted to accommodate only one vendor at a time, in order to minimize physical contact.

All touch points, such as professional equipment, access and storage areas will be thoroughly sanitized.
